The result is the R2, a smaller, lighter, and slimmer design that is compatible with CP200d chargers and audio accessories.
The R2 radio also has 64 channels, instead of 4 for the CP200 and 16 for the CP200D. It has an extended range direct-mode to enhance communications. With enhanced privacy, audio profiles, and audio leveling. It now has an improved IP55 (dust and water ingress protection) rating. And yes, this radio comes in both analog versions, for a more budget-friendly price, and digital versions. And the great news is Motorola is currently introducing this radio for the same price as the CP200D.
